Professional airline pilots from TAP Air Portugal are leaving their daily routes for the fifth time since 2007. The pilots will venture through Africa’s deep bush, crossing the African continent from north to south for 23 days in single-engined aircrafts. They combine the aeronautical knowledge acquired over many years of experience, with the aspiration to directly provide children and teenagers with equipment that will help strengthen the two most important pillars of their growth: school education and sports education. Flight of Hope will be donating school and sports equipment directly to the communities in the various countries the pilots fly over.

With the donations from Flight Of Hope 2024, these children will have a more sustained growth and will be able to exercise their abilities in a more natural way.

In addition to the donations, we will establish a link between schools in Portugal and schools in Guinea- Bissau, Angola and Mozambique, - specific and direct links where we will be the emissaries of messages between students, as well as rehabilitating the respective schools on African soil, as Flight of Hope accomplished in Mozambique in the previous edition.

This year’s Flight Of Hope will undoubtedly mark the future of all the children we meet!
